Are you in need of information about the calculator that estimates the Expected DA from July 2024 for Central Government Employees? The Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government Employees is dependent on the monthly averages of the latest AICPIN (All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers), which is compiled and published by the Labour Bureau. At present, the DA is calculated based on the Consumer Price Index with a 2016 base year (CPI-IW BY 2016=100). Monthly statistical data is released, and the DA calculation remains consistent with the same pattern. The final calculation for June and December will be completed at the end of those respective months. For instance, the approximate DA from 1.1.2025 can be determined from the final calculation of December 2024.
